Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam!
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmat Allahu wa Barakatuhu
On behalf of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation we have the honor to congratulate you on the advent of the blessed Eid Ul-Adha.
Allah Ta\’la ordering people to fulfill the act sacrificing an animal strengthened feeling of justice among them. Muslims obeying to this holy pledge of submission renew the vow by the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) as well as their faith aimed at forwarding further in the way of perfecting their ethical stance ended by our holy religion.
Hundreds of millions of Muslims throughout the world fulfill their religious obligation of sacrifice, inspiring the eternal call from Almighty on generosity and kindness. In the verse of Al-Kauthar of Holy Koran Allah Ta\’la says:
\”O Muhammad, surely We have granted you the Kauthar. Therefore, offer Salah (prayer) to your Lord and sacrifice.\”
Taking an opportunity we make dua\’s for all Muslims in the world who have been suffering from the humanitarian catastrophes, natural disasters and wars, particularly for those living in Burma and Syria. We also hope that this holiday will be an opportunity for conflicting parties in Syria to come to compromise to put an end the bloodshed in this country. Thus the occasion of Eid Ul-Adha requires from us to give concrete meaning to the ideal of Islamic solidarity towards them, in its most sublime manifestation.
Rejoicing this Holy occasion we join our brothers and sisters as well as millions\’ of those who fulfil their obligation of Hajj these days dua\’s for development, prosperity and dignity of the Ummah, as well as peace and harmony globally.
